Charbel: Investigations into Geagea’s assassination attempt ongoing in total secrecy

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel hoped Sunday that Jesus’ resurrection can be an opportunity for Lebanon to resurrect from its plight. Charbel stressed that the political rhetoric must abide by rules, principles and the respect of the opinion of others.

After conferring Patriarch Rai in Bkerke, Charbel told journalists that investigations into the assassination attempt against Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea are ongoing in total secrecy in order to uncover the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

“Security forces are working to protect civil peace and Lebanon especially in these critical circumstances”, he said.
