Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party MP Talal Arslan said in a press conference on Monday that “Choueifat witnessed the most heated electoral battle since 1990”, pointing out that some of the parties were hiding behind what’s so called the civil society to manipulate the public opinion.
“Despite being head of a political party, I will not deal with the people of Choueifat in politics”, he added.
Arslan said he regretted that the municipality does not include any members from Khalde’s Arab clans, but said will do his best to fulfill their demands and grant them their rights.
