Future bloc reiterates importance of solid relationship with KSA

The Future bloc asserted on Tuesday that it will not forget the great role that Saudi Arabia played in defending Lebanon’s independence, sovereignty, the safety of its people and its unique formula.

The bloc added following its weekly meeting that the Saudi Kingdom “always stood by Beirut on the political, security, social, economic and financial levels.”

The bloc reiterated the importance of the solid bilateral relationship between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia and its officials “who were keen on standing beside Lebanon and serving its interests.”

On another note, the bloc reiterated the importance of electing a new president for the country “in order to put an end for the paralysis imposed by Hezbollah and its illegal arms.”

The bloc concluded by saying that it is still committed to the principle of parity between Christians and Muslims, the principle of peaceful rotation of power, the respect of the democratic system based on the separation of powers and the principle of balance and cooperation.
