Rifi rules out comprehensive security chaos in the country
Resigned Minister of Justice Achraf Rifi said on Wednesday that Hezbollah not condemning Sunday’s blast is “unacceptable.”

“Who is benefiting from such a crime and who is capable of carrying it?” Rifi said via his Twitter account.

He also noted that there are many “similarities” between the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri and Sunday’s blast.

“In my political reading, I tend to accuse Hezbollah,” he added.

Rifi also stressed that the banking sector is “a red light,” adding that he rules out any comprehensive security chaos in the country.

An explosive device hidden outside a bank in Beirut exploded on Sunday evening lightly wounded two people.

Some Lebanese banks have recently been closing accounts linked to Hezbollah in light of a recent US sanctions law targeting the group's finances.
