REPORT: Gemayel says party’s ministers to submit written resignations by tomorrow

Kataeb party leader MP Sami Gemayel said on Thursday that the party’s ministers will submit their official resignation from the government to Prime Minister Tammam Salam today or tomorrow (Friday).

“The current government is expired and it has moved from paralysis to harm, that's why we have called on Salam to resign,” Gemayel noted.

Earlier, Gemayel paid a visit to the headquarters of the Tashnag party in Bourj Hammoud on top of a delegation.

He held a meeting with the party’s Secretary General MP Hagop Pakradounian and Vice Secretary General Avedis Kidanian.

Talks reportedly featured high over the latest local developments, mainly the waste management crisis whereby it was agreed to continue contacts in order to find solutions for the issue.
