Protest against new electoral law in Amman
Around 1500 people rallied in Amman on Friday in protest against the new electoral law approved by the government last Friday. They considered that it is a “customary law that falsifies the people’s will”.

The protest kicked off after Friday prayers outside the Grand Husseini Mosque in Amman with the participation of the Islamic movement, the opposition parties and professional syndicates. The protest was led by a big Jordanian flag and a symbolic coffin inscribed “electoral law”.
