In a statement, Hariri pointed out that “for the past two years, they’ve been calling for an official plan that would deal with the repercussions of the Syrian displacement, along with a decision that would allow the army to form a border force that would isolate Lebanon from the fire erupting in Syria."
Hariri called for a national stance that would top all considerations and political loyalties, putting Lebanon’s security above any interests and external connections.
