Wahhab calls for reaching agreement on Druze endowments issue

Head of the Tawhid Party Wiam Wahhab called on Sunday for reaching an agreement on the issue of Druze endowments and unifying the Druze sheikhdom.

Wahhab confirmed that the Lebanese Druze in Beirut constitute the pillars of the Druze sect and have the moral right, prior to the legal right, to be consulted before taking any move with regards to the Druze endowments in Beirut.

During his meeting with a Druze delegation in Beirut, Wahhab voiced hope that the judiciary does not become a tool at anyone’s disposal to manipulate issues or else he will take “a harsh and violent stance” in this regard.
