Arslan blames “political decadence”, calls withholding salaries “criminal”

Lebanese Democratic Party Head MP Talal Arslan announced on Monday that the “blatant” interference of the world ambassadors in the Lebanese internal affairs is a “disgrace”, slamming “the political decadence that has exceeded all limits.”

While receiving popular delegations, Arslan warned of depriving the Lebanese of their salaries, adding that “threatening people with their salaries is a crime that cannot be overlooked at any cost.”

Addressing politicians, Arslan asked “have you not gorged yourselves enough? You become criminals when you withhold salaries from the people.”
