Deputy Speaker Farid Makari met on Thursday with Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea in Maarab.
Following the meeting, Makari said that “there is always hope to end the presidential vacuum.”
On another note, Makari pointed out that the proposal of the hybrid electoral law is being finalized, urging the concerned parties to approve it.
"We urgently need to close this case. The electoral law is a priority in Lebanon’s political arena," he added.
