Youssef to LBCI: We will not venture into a vote of no confidence without Jumblatt

Future bloc MP Ghazi Youssef said on Tuesday that the bloc does not intend to cast a vote of no confidence since the Head of the National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumblatt will not join March 14 forces in this step.

“As long as Jumblatt does not want to resort to a motion of no confidence, we cannot venture into this and risk failing”, Youssef said.

Youssef told LBCI that the general discussion session is an opportunity to hold ministers and the whole cabinet accountable for the violations committed. He stressed that March 14 will not exempt any minister, adding that the majority of the reported infringements are the product of Aounist ministers.

“Never before, have we seen a minister falsifying contracts and randomly spending the state’s funds”, Youssef said.
