Lebanon’s General Organization for Housing warned mortgage borrowers’ of violating the law by renting their residence –on mortgage loan-.
The organization stressed that it will take legal action against those who rent their residence, through canceling the agreement and have them held responsible. Violators will also pay off a penal interest of an extra 12% on the entire loan.
The organization called upon all violators to settle the situation as soon as possible, while informing the organization.
