Beaches are typically a place to soak up some sun as you listen to the relaxing sound of waves.
 
However, this beach on the island of Saint Martin in the Caribbean isn't the most relaxing.
 
The runway at Princess Juliana Airport is so close to Maho beach, planes skim over the heads of tourists at a very close range as they prepare to land.
 
And if you think that's scary, just imagine how the plane passengers feel as they see themselves heading closer and closer to a packed beach.
