REPORT: Man beats his wife to death in Mount Lebanon

They say  yellow roses represent jealousy, Maymouna moved into her Mount Lebanon house only a few days earlier, yet she didn’t know that the yellow rose before her house will be a bad omen leading to her own death.

20-year-old Maymouna Ahmad Abu al-Aaila, who is originally from the northern Lebanese city of Akkar, had married 24-year-old Mohammad al-Tahesh after they had fallen in love, but now and after 7 months of marriage al-Tahesh became her murderer.

AL-Tahesh beat his wife to death in their Mount Lebanon home on Tuesday. With a cold heart, he killed his wife, showered, got dressed and made sure to let the owner know he will be paying off the rent.

After a few hours of the crime al-Tahesh was arrested in Tripoli. The man injured his knee as he was trying to escape in a car with four other men, one of them identified as his brother.

The other four were also arrested and are currently being interrogated.
