Salam urges political leaders to resolve differences, avoid government paralysis

Prime Minister Tammam Salam stressed Wednesday his keenness on the need to elect a president, urging all the political factions to resolve their differences and get back to work, as tensions soar following the collapse of national dialogue talks earlier this week.

Salam’s comments came at the launching of a report on Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.

“I call upon all politicians to reject parliamentary paralysis and move towards productive work,” the premier said.

Salam lauded the importance of the work performed by Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee (LPDC) in its attempt to draft the history of the Palestinian asylum seekers.
