Head of the Arab Tawhid Party, former Minister Wiam Wahhab said Sunday that “soon, masks will fall off many faces in the fight against corruption,” noting that the state’s authority cannot be imposed in our regions without being imposed elsewhere.
Wahhab stressed that he will not halt the fight on corruption even if he remains standing alone, adding that “the best scenario is to win the battle in order to be able to build a real state for all the people.”
In a press conference held over the arrest of a member from his party over the Majdel Anjar bombing, Wahhab said that it is shameful to leak information and to turn a security apparatus into an informant serving media outlets.
