REPORT: Speeches filled with politics on Eid al-Adha in Lebanon

Jaafari Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Kabalan asked for a national settlement in order to reach an agreement over a new Lebanese president who unifies the country.

Sheikh kabalan emphasized the Christian-Muslim coexistence during his speech at Al Hussein Mosque, explaining that the regional threats require solid solidarity, and that a new electoral law based on proportional representation is needed for the preservation of the Lebanese diversity.
