Harb says will continue to assume responsibilities in government
Minister of Telecommunication Boutros Harb said on Thursday that he will continue to assume his responsibilities in the government as per specific conditions.
Harb’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he noted that the side hindering the election of a new president is targeting the Christians’ rights.
He also accused some sides of fueling sedition in order to achieve people and narrow goals.
On another note, Harb said that the two mobile operators Alfa and Touch finished the establishment of 400 4 G stations out of 2400.
He also said that he requested from the two operators to reduce the internet fees.

Harb concluded by saying that the Ministry will also reduce the internet fees gradually.

Yesterday, the Free Patriotic Movement threatened to take to the streets on September 28 if FPM founder MP Michel Aoun is not elected president.

Lebanon has been plunged into a presidential vacuum since May 2014.

Aoun is running for president against his March 8 ally, Marada Movement leader MP Sleiman Frangieh.
