Progressive Socialist Party chief MP Walid Jumblatt declared that he does not expect the election of a new president in the near future; expressing regret and grief that his strongest ally former PM Saad Hariri is getting weaker “steadily.”
In a statement to “Carnegie Middle East Center” published by al-Anbaa website, Jumblatt said that “he would rather commit suicide based on his conditions, than heading to Syria to shake hands with Bashar Assad.”
