Sewage has transformed Merdashye River in Zgharta into heavily polluted water.
In fact, no plan has been implemented yet to resolve the issue, which has led to an increase in the level of pollution and health-related threats, despite the fact that in 2012, the Council for Development and Reconstruction conducted a study but no decision has been reached so far.
