A fire caused by an electric friction raged inside a second-floor apartment overnight in the evangelical church neighborhood of Mastita, Jbeil.
Civil Defense teams rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames.
A woman, who was suffocating inside the apartment, was transferred to Jbeil’s St Maritime Hospital for treatment.
