Two weeks after unknown assailants set fire to a waste sorting plant in Baalbek, another waste sorting plant engulfed in fire Saturday in Chouf region, Mount Lebanon.
The fire ruined most of the factory’s equipment and losses are estimated to be around $200,000.
Municipalities in the region are making efforts reestablish the plant as soon as possible, because it is the only waste sorting plant in the region which encompasses 30,000 citizens.
