Former inmate injured in Ali an-Nahri clash

Around 50 members of al-Mazbouh family flocked together Sunday night in the Ali an-Nahri square under the slogan “wreaking revenge on Hassan Tleiss”, four days after the latter was released from prison.

A clash erupted upon Tleiss’ arrival at the square. Kayssar Dalloul, one of Tleiss’ relatives, intervened to settle the dispute which accordingly turned into a bout between him and Hassan Tleiss.

Dalloul opened fire at Hassan Tleiss, wounding him in the leg.

The injured person was rushed to the Riyak hospital for treatment while the ISF dispersed the crowd and launched investigations to arrest the perpetrators.
