REPORT: Comic book inspired by the adventures of Maxim Chaya

Lebanese adventurer Maxim Chaya released in cooperation with Hachette Antoine publishing house a new comic book entitled Maximus Max, inspired by his own adventures, in a bid to raise awareness about the preservation of the environment, which is being put in danger due to the people’s irresponsible behavior.

Chaya said that he had the idea of the book nine years ago, adding that the series is available in both Arabic and French languages, and includes five volumes that will be released consecutively.

The first volume is set to hit the shelves Saturday November 05, during Beirut’s book fair.

The comics were written by Rabih Haddad under the supervision of Pascale Kahwagi, while the drawings were done by artist Tony Abou Jaoudeh.

Whoever thought that Maxim had enough of adventures by climbing Mount Everest or crossing the Indian Ocean in a rowing boat, is for sure mistaken, as he prepares to kick off his next adventure on November 24, by crossing the world’s second largest desert located in the southeastern of the Arab peninsula, on his bicycle. His trip is expected to last until the dawn of 2017.
