LF media official Riachi to LBCI: I expected Trump’s victory

Lebanese Forces media official Melhem Riachi said on Wednesday that he expected the victory of Republican Donald Trump in the US presidential elections.

“Trump became the president of the world, not only president of the USA,” he added.

Riachi’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he noted that Trump’s adviser, Lebanese national Walid Fares, can have a political influence in the region.

On another note, Riachi said that the formation of a new government will not take longer than one month, adding that the Lebanese Forces party must take one of the four sovereign ministerial portfolios.

“No one can name the ministers of the Lebanese Forces expect us,” he concluded by saying.
