Nicolas to LBCI: People lost faith in their representatives at GLC

Change and Reform bloc MP Nabil Nicolas described on Thursday the workers’ demands as “rightful”, adding that the people has lost their faith in their representatives at the GLC which has dragged the people’s demands into “the political corners,” as he said.

“The Change and Reform bloc has called for taking the VAT off fuel prices”, Nicolas told Nharkom Said TV show, adding that the ministry of energy is not the sole responsible for the increase in prices and that the onus is also on the ministry of economy and the cabinet.

Nicolas added that U.S. official Jeffrey Feltman does not have the right to pry into Lebanese politics and to pit one party against the other.
