Hezbollah denies pledge not to target Israel
Hezbollah denied on Friday media reports stating that it had promised Russia not to retaliate to Israeli raids on targets inside the Syrian territories.
“The assumed pledge from Hezbollah to Russia not to retaliate to the Israeli raids against targets inside Syria... is absolutely baseless and falsified,” a statement from Hezbollah’s media office said.
Several Israeli missiles hit areas surrounding the Mazzeh air base outside Damascus Wednesday overnight without causing any casualties.
