Judge Saqr charges 5 persons for belonging to IS

Military Prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr charged on Friday a Lebanese national and four other Syrians for belonging to the Islamic State.

Judge Saqr charged Ahmad Ammoun and four Syrians with plotting to carry out terrorist attacks, participating in security and logistic acts and financing operations for the benefit of IS.

The judge also implemented 13 arrest warrants issued in absentia against Ammoun and referred him to the concerned judiciary.
