Judge Hammoud orders investigation over attack on MP Kanaan

State Prosecutor Judge Samir Hammoud requested on Sunday from the head of the Internal Security Forces Information Branch General Imad Othman to carry out an investigation into last night's shooting at MP Ibhraim Kanaan's convoy.

An investigation was launched to reveal the perpetrators who intercepted the convoy of MP Ibrahim Kanaan in the region of Dora and opened fire at it.
