Future Movement denies Jaafari's allegations
The Future Movement issued a statement on Friday to deny the allegations of Syrian envoy to UN, Bashar Jaafari.

"The Future Movement flatly denies the allegations of Syrian envoy to the UN, Bashar Jaafari, included in a letter addressed to Ban Ki-moon, hereby accusing the Movement of harboring what he termed as 'terrorist elements' from al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, working on undermining Kofi Annan's peace plan".

"The statement of the Syrian government's envoy included fabricated accusations to cover up the daily violations of Kofi Annan's plan by the security and military apparatuses," the statement added.

"The envoy of the Syrian regime tried, in his letter, to export his country's crisis into Lebanon through implicating the name of Future Movement, that abides by the rules of the responsible democratic and civil political work; this is what the movement has proven since the assassination of PM Rafik Hariri," it said.

The Movement also stressed that the Syrian regime could not ban any Lebanese or Arabic from expressing their opinion, siding with the Syrian people in their just battle to obtain their right to freedom.
