REPORT: Environment Minister sets dates for 2017 hunting season

Minister of Environment Tareq Khatib said on Tuesday that the 2017 hunting season will start in September and end the following January.

Khatib’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he noted that those who wish to obtain a hunting license must pass examinations.

He also noted that hunting clubs will be chosen by the ministry to conduct these examinations, adding that fines will be given to those who violate the regulations.
