REPORT: Berri says extending parliament’s term without new vote law out of the question

Speaker Nabih Berri stressed that the extension of the parliament’s mandate without a new vote law is “out of the question.”

 

During Wednesday’s deputies gathering in Ain al-Tineh, Berri noted that “reaching a state of parliamentary vacuum means dragging the country into collapse,” adding that even considering such a situation means further collapse of the institutions.
