Patriarch Rai visits President Aoun
Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai visited on Thursday President Michel Aoun at the Baabda presidential Palace.

Following the meeting, Rai urged the Lebanese parliament to shoulder its duties and to hold “fair and comprehensive elections.”

“Repeatedly saying no to the extension of the parliament’s term and to the 1960 law is not enough,” Rai added.
He also congratulated Aoun for the speech he delivered at the Arab League Summit.
