LF, FPM suspend mobilization against extension
The Lebanese Forces and the Free Patriotic Movement decided on Wednesday night to suspend their mobilization against the extension of the parliament's mandate after President Michel Aoun suspended the parliamentary sessions for one month.

The Lebanese Forces has initially issued a statement on Wednesday morning whereby it called on all the Lebanese people to go on full strike on Thursday April 13, 2017, in objection to the third extension of the parliament’s mandate.

The statement noted that the “effective solution for the current crisis resides in the approval of a new vote law that gives the utmost fair representation for the Lebanese people.”

This as the Free Patriotic Movement also has called on the Lebanese people to practice their right in expressing rejection of and objection to the third extension of the Parliament's mandate, “with all the possible democratic means.”

The FPM issued a statement in this regard in which it called on the Lebanese people to join the mobilizations, adding that the moves will be announced tomorrow.
