REPORT: Tight list of events for 'Mediterranea' project in Beirut

The Italian cultural and scientific expedition ''Progetto Mediterranea'', which set sail two years ago, on May 17, 2014, from San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy, arrived in Lebanon and is now in Beirut.

It left Cyprus on April 10 and sailed over 130 miles in 15 hours.

Lebanon is the seventh country of the Mediterranean area visited so far by the Mediterranea project (www.progettomediterranea.com).

The agenda in Beirut is full of events organized in cooperation with the Italian Embassy with the participation of intellectuals, artists, journalists, musicians and representatives of the Country's cultural community.
