Kuwait urges citizens not to travel to Lebanon, for those currently there to return
Kuwait urged its citizens on Monday not to travel to Lebanon and for those currently there to return.

Bahrain, UAE and Qatar had earlier issued similar warnings.

Sources from the Emirati embassy in Lebanon refused to comment in a statement to LBCI on the recent call made by the UAE for its residents to leave Lebanon.

The sources revealed that the Emirati ambassador left Beirut on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, the charge d'Affaires at the Jordanian embassy in Lebanon confirmed to LBCI that he did not call on Jordanians in Lebanon to leave the country.
