REPORT: Causes, symptoms and vaccines of cervical cancer
Cervical cancer occurs when abnormal cells on the cervix grow out of control. The cervix is the lower part of the uterus that opens into the vagina.

In Lebanon, 5 out of 100000 Lebanese women are affected with cervical cancer each year.

Many factors may play a role in causing cervical cancer, such as having more than one sex partner or smoking cigarettes. However, a vaccine can be done to prevent the disease.
