Member of the Change and Reform bloc MP Ziad Aswad said that the Christians are not meant to fully participate in ruling, noting that the structure of the Lebanese system that was set up back in the nineties on a sectarian basis prevents any reform form being implemented to improve the current situation.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Aswad stressed that the present phase is not reassuring, stressing the need to reach balance and agreement, “but not at the expense of any other party.”
