Prime Minister Saad Hariri declared Monday that there are attempts to create a dispute between him and President Michel Aoun, noting that he had a “wide agreement with President Aoun that cannot be disrupted.”
Commenting on the issue of the electoral law, Hariri said that a solution could be reached soon, calling on the parliamentary blocs to prioritize the country’s interest above their own.
Speaking from Baabda, Hariri pointed out that all the law proposals he is looking into are based or include the proportionality system.
In this context, he stressed his keenness on making achievements such as fighting corruption, revealing that the issue of Banque Du Liban will be finalized soon.
