Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil declared Friday that he admitted to Maronite Patriarch Beshara Boutros Rai “to all the things they failed to achieve and the things they accomplished.”
In a press conference held in Bkerke after the meeting, Bassil said that “the law based on 15 constituencies with proportional representation was launched form Bkerke and was the second choice after the Orthodox proposal,” stressing that all the proposals they discussed adopted the same standards.”
“We did not discuss the redistribution of seats,” he added.
