REPORT: Cabinet convenes, reduces internet fees
Prime Minister Saad Hariri chaired on Wednesday a cabinet session at the Grand Serail with 28 items are on the session’s agenda.

During the session, the cabinet approved the dropping of the internet fees.

Following the session, Minister of telecommunications Jammal al-Jarrah said that such reduction in the prices provides DSL service with good prices and good services.

He also added that the reduction of the prices will lead to a reduction in the prices of 3G and 4G services.
 
Prior to the session, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Qanso said that an agreement over a new vote law was not reached yet.
 
Meanwhile, Minister of Information Melhem Riachi said that the new electoral law became at its final stage, dubbing it the atmosphere as “positive.”
 
On another note, Minister of Industry Hussein al-Hajj Hassan said that terrorism existing around the world “is the achievement of one of the Arab states.”
