Police arrests 400 demonstrators in Montreal student rally

Police arrested approximately 400 people in Montreal on Thursday after demonstrators threw rocks at officers during a protest staged by students.

Thousands of demonstrators flocked into Montreal's central square on Wednesday, protesting a recently-approved law requiring organizers to notify authorities 8 hours ahead of public demonstrations.
