REPORT: President Aoun visits ISF headquarters

President Michel Aoun visited Friday the general headquarters of the Internal Security Forces, where he addressed ISF members saying: “You combine the exercise of discipline with the citizens and cruelty against terrorists.”

"We have to be vigilant and guard against the post-fall of terrorist organizations in Syria lest they enter Lebanon," Aoun said.

For his part, the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman, said that the President is the support system for the security forces and the military institution in our mission to maintain security and stability.

"Our role ends when we accomplish the task and arrest the wanted, the role of the judiciary begins and other competent bodies," he said.
