UN’s position on refugees’ return to Syria
UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Sigrid Kaag stressed that the position of the United Nations is clear regarding the safe and voluntary return of refugees.
 
On another note, Kaag said that “the United Nations does not have a position over whether Lebanon choose to have a dialogue or coordination with the authorities in Damascus or not,” stressing that this is “a bilateral government to government decision.”
