The Lebanese Armed Forces Airborne Regiment enhanced its military and field posts, bringing in reinforcements to the towns of Ras Baalbek and al-Qaa, as well as the neighboring areas.
The army also conducted motorized patrols and set up additional checkpoints in anticipation for any infiltration attempt by gunmen.
