Saudi source: Southern Transitional Council transport minister decides to close Yemen’s Aden airport
A Saudi source told Reuters on Thursday that Yemen’s Southern Transitional Council transport minister has ordered the closure of Aden airport.
The source said the minister suspended air traffic in defiance of a decision by the Saudi-backed government to impose specific restrictions on flights to and from the United Arab Emirates’ cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, in an effort to curb the ongoing escalation in the country.
