Speaker Berri meets with President Rouhani in Tehran

Speaker Nabih Berri continued on Sunday his official visit to Tehran and met with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

“We rely on your role in Lebanon and we hope to develop our bilateral relations,” Rouhani told Berri during the meeting.

Rouhani took the oath of office on Saturday before parliament in Tehran in the presence of foreign dignitaries including senior European and world figures.
