REPORT: Minister of Health Hasbani: Lebanon is immune against spread of epidemics

Minister of Health Ghassan Hasbani said on Thursday that Lebanon is “immune against the spread of epidemics.

Hasbani’s remarks were made during his visit to the al-Masnaa crossing point to inspect a vaccination campaign.

“The Ministry, in collaboration with the United Nations and the Global Health Ministry, is providing advanced vaccines for the children crossing the borders into Lebanon,” he added.

Hasbani also noted that "there are four border centers and 16 ambulatory care centers along the Lebanese borders, aimed at preserving the safety of children and to prevent the spread of any epidemic."
