ISF patrol arrests man on suspicion on belonging to a terrorist group

The Internal Security Forces declared on Wednesday that they arrested a man on suspicions of carrying out attacks during the 2014 clashes in the border town of Arsal.

Syrian national Aa.Aa. (born in 1991) was arrested at 2:00 PM on Tuesday by a patrol from Arsal's police station.

The man was apprehended "on suspicion of belonging to a terrorist group and for carrying out terrorist attacks in Arsal in 2014," an ISF statement said in this regard.

Two stolen cars – both without license plates were seized.

The suspect and the seized cars were referred to the Judicial Police Bureau for Combating International Crimes of Theft to act accordingly.
