October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, during which campaign are launched to call on women to undergo regular tests and check-ups, and to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
According to the statistics of Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation, there are 9000 new cases of cancer diagnosed in Lebanon in men and women; among 4500 women diagnosed with cancer, 1900 are breast cancer cases.
